The first step was to paint a at, which is brown. Then, Elizabeth, R. Wall, Michael Schwartz (professional muralist from Tucson), and Jacob, stayed up until 3:00 am both Friday and Saturday nights to chalk the mural outline on to the wall. This process is achieved by using an overhead projector (at night of course) and projecting transparencies of the to-scale design on to the wall. The process requires lots of math and measuring in order to keep the proportions correct. Enjoy the images!
