Living Folklore has unleashed a hilarious theatrical presentation of Giggly Sprout's Paintings called, "Is This Art?" In this show, Living Folklore brings you a cast of diverse and eccentric characters that comment on the artistic process, art philosophy, Giggly's Paintings, and the role of art within culture. Between monologues by the experts the audience is treated to live rag-time piano from Roland Bones, a silent-movie piano player from the 1930's. At the end of the show, Giggly Sprout appears with a dance and a rhyme to tell you what the paintings mean to her. This show is an especially great program for art educators, students, and artists. Length, approx. 50 minutes
